How our big girl spends her days: art

Jane asks to paint at least once a day, although usually it's more like 2-3 times per day.  We go through a set of Crayola watercolors weekly!  Some of Jane's masterpieces are featured below.  You may be getting one of these original paintings in the mail shortly!

Jane LOVES Bella.  We pretend to call Bella on the phone, look at pictures of Bella, and paint Bella.  I love how my little artist stays in the lines!

Jane has been asking for a Magna Doodle for several weeks  (she sees them at Barnes and Noble).  Jane finally convinced Daddy that she needed this.  She draws on the Magna Doddle, erases her picture, and says, "HUH?!?" (as in where did my picture go).  It is really so cute, perhaps a future video...

Jane likes coloring books now.  She uses markers, paints, and crayons and really does a nice job staying in the lines (when she wants to).

We made Jane a chalkboard using chalkboard paint.  So much fun!

such concentration!

Not pictured:  Jane still enjoys drawing with markers and crayons (but watercolor is her favorite medium for sure!).
