Vancouver

We took the train to Vancouver this past weekend.  The weather was perfect!!  It was a fun little getaway and our first vacation as a foursome.  We had our hands very full most of the time, so the pictures are limited.  It is so much harder traveling with two littles!  When we got in Friday we hung around downtown.  Saturday we went the the aquarium and Stanley Park.  We took the train home Saturday night.

Jane does art and reads book on the train

We walked by a flower market in Vancouver.  Erik told Jane that "maybe" we could stop on the way back.  Jane jumped from the moving stroller (no we do not buckle her in...) and asked to buy a little flower.  How could we say no?!?

Shortly after that she passed out in the stroller
Solly asleep in the hotel room.  He was NOT a happy traveler.  Lots of crying and fussing from this one...
Solly took his first bath in a big bath tub.  Jane climbed in and joined him after this picture was taken.  The photos of the two of them in the bath are adorable but not internet appropriate...

We went to the aquarium and Janers got an orca whale painted on her arm.

Jane waiting for the train in Vancouver.  Yes, we were only gone for one night...and this is packing lightly....

Jane, Solly, and Mommy on the train back home.  Solly screamed for over an hour.  He was over vacation!
The next morning everyone was sleepy....so lots of das were in order (that is what Jane calls nursing).  Here I am double nursing my babies.  I am smiling for the photo but it is not something I like to do.  One at a time, please kiddos...but neither kid could wait.
Solly was so stoked to be home that he rewarded us with his first smiles!
