Well, here it is...the last sign picture! Happy HAPPY birthday to our big 1 year old girl!
At 1 year old, Jane can:
- walk (started today!)
- sign 4 words (water, eat, books, boobs)
- point to several body parts (eyes, ears, nose, feet, hands)
- make several animal noises (dog, elephant, crocodile/alligator, chicken, crab, cow, pig)
- point out things when asked
- understand SO MANY words
- stack cups, rings, stacking toys
Jane's favorite toys are blocks and stacking toys. Jane LOVES to read books--her favorites are books with dogs in them, Dear Zoo, and Brown Bear Brown Bear. Jane also loves to spend time outside playing in her sand table, exploring, and checking for dogs. Jane STILL hates sleeping in her crib and riding in her car seat, as she has from day 1.
