Zoo pics
Jane walked through a lot of the zoo on her own. She was exhausted
after our zoo excursion!
There was a time when Jane was smaller than this statue...and scared of this statue.
Jane and the gorilla eat a snack together
Jane watches the gorilla eat vegetables. Mom was grateful that the gorillas were still eating breakfast, not their own puke.
Jane has a face full of strawberries.
When her mouth wasn't stuffed full of strawberries, Jane meowed at
the jaguar.
Cruising on her own!
The penguins weren't quite as interesting as the rocks near the penguin tank.
This was taken at a rose garden right outside the zoo. I had never noticed it before, but my observant girl sure did! We took a stroll to the fountain and threw rocks in.

I finally found my video cable--enjoy the videos!
FIRE TRUCK
Jane loves to make siren noises!
MUH! CHOCOLATE
Jane has a new word and she LOVES chocolate!
SAND AND WATER TABLE SINGING
Jane really enjoys playing with her sand and water table,
renamed mud table...
WALL ART
She is just so proud of her wall drawings!

Jane's sand and water table gets water
Jane couldn't believe her good luck--sand AND water, together in one table!
Even on cold days, Jane manages to convince us to add water (our girl is very persuasive).

problem, solution, problem
As you can see, Jane sneaked off and did a little wall art. She knew she wasn't
supposed to be drawing on the walls because when I caught her, she
shook her head no and said, "ahh" (that is how she says no).
The little RASCAL.
(As an aside, Jane is pretty proud of her wall art. She gleefully points it out
every single time she trots by.)
every single time she trots by.)
So we set up some paper on the refrigerator. She LOVED the idea. She
was busy yesterday evening and all day today drawing and
painting on the refrigerator paper.
Her masterpieces.....
...then when I was doing dishes with my back turned, she dashed off with a marker.
This is how I found her...
...she looks pretty guilty!
My daughter has turned into a little toddler monster who likes to tell me
"no" when I ask her to do things and sneaks off to get into all kinds of mischief!
Ahh...toddlerhood. I think I'm ready to have an infant again!
