10 months

Solly is finally getting some teeth on top (4 all at once).

Solly is 10 months old today.  He is such a big boy.  This past month, Solly's comprehension has improved noticeably!  For example, he has started to know the labels to a few common objects (i.e., when asked, "where's [object]", he looks until he finds it), especially Jane.  Solly is really starting to enjoy books.  He turns the pages when reading books, has favorite pages in several books, and will smile and giggle at my animal sound effects--so fun!  Not many new gross motor skills, just more proficient and faster at the ones he had down last month.  Love this big guy!

My mom got Jane this magnet set when Sol was born.  In the past, we've just played with the magnets. Yesterday, we started making the picture cards that came with the set.  Here is Jane making a butterfly.  It is the second or third picture she's made from a card and first time making the butterfly.  She is so clever and has such a mind for puzzles and constructing! She will be getting some logic games and more challenging puzzles for Christmas!  Thanks for the fun toy Grammy!
