MN pics (very delayed)

 Here are the pictures from our trip to MN.  I barely took my camera out the entire trip, so I had to wait until my mom sent her photos to post.  Bad mamarazzi, I know, but a tired and sick mamarazzi...

We caught a toad and my brave girl actually wanted to hold it!  We also caught 2 frogs (not pictured).  Jane still talks about the toads and frogs (they jump, she held it in  her hand, she poured water into the bucket, we let them go so they could eat bugs...)

This photo is for my brother, who likes the crying photos.  I don't remember why she is crying but her little face has so much emotion.

My parents had the kitchen done this past fall.  Isn't it beautiful!  Hopefully the rest of the cabin will be finished when Jane, baby, and I return next summer...Who has a prediction on whether or not that will happen?

 My longest friend Katie with her beautiful 4 week old baby boy.  Funny enough, whenever I held Aiden, Jane suddenly needed to be held, too.  She tried to push him off my lap at one point...She's going to have a tough time come end of January.

 We had dinner at Nana's, and sadly this is the only photo I have from that night.  Jane gave uncle Christopher a flower to put in his hair.  We can't wait to see you again at Thanksgiving Uncle Chris!

3 more ways our baby has grown up

1.  Jane peed in the toilet yesterday (she JUST turned 17 months---just another reason that we love cloth diapers).  I was cheering for Jane, so Erik came to the bathroom to see what all the fuss was about. Jane proudly told her daddy all about it by signing pee and pointing into the toilet with a big grin on her face. 

2.  Jane slept in her crib for 4 hours straight last night.  This is the longest she's EVER slept in her crib.  With the new baby coming, we need to get her out of our bed!

3.  Jane has an opinion about what she wears.  See those bright pink pants in the picture above?  Well I don't really care for the color...Actually I really don't like the bright pink.  When we were shopping last weekend for fall clothes, Jane INSISTED on buying these.  I tried to talk her into a nice purple pair instead but she wouldn't hear of it.  These pants are 18-24 month size and a little long.  But we did buy leggings that are size 2T and fit perfectly.  My tall and skinny baby! 

**sorry for the lack of posts and pictures lately.  This pregnancy has me tired and sick most days...hoping it will get better soon.
