A sad goodbye

As many of you know, we put an offer on this beautiful house in November.  It was a short sale and we were not-so-patiently waiting for an approval from the sellers' banks for EIGHT months.  We heard a few days ago that the current lien holders DENIED the short sale.  I am so SO SO sad and disappointed.  The house is in near brand new condition, beautiful, and perfect for us in so many ways (good neighborhood, great public schools, beautiful city...I could go on and on).  We go back to house hunting on Saturday.  The timing of this whole ordeal is really, really awful and I am DREADING starting this whole process over again.

Mount Hood

We went up to the Timberline Lodge in Mount Hood, OR.  Jane had a blast in the snow!  She especially loved watching the skiers and snowboarders.

Jane hiked up this hill.  She thought it would be fun to run ski down the hill just like the skiers. Mount Hood in the background.

Jane wants to see muh! skiers

We had lunch at the Timberline Lodge.  There is snow right outside this window.
