This past week in pictures

Not many photos this week.  My camera (I now think it's the camera, not the lens) is broken and needs to go in for repair or replacement.  Also, Janers has a cold and is not very tolerant of getting her photo taken.  She's started throw-my-body-backwards-and-scream tantrums when she doesn't get her way and cries when told "no".  We're hoping those are symptoms of being sick as opposed to early onset toddlerhood.

Janers got an activity table.  Often she'll stand and play at the table without holding onto the table.  Our big strong girl!

The little monster crawls everywhere.  She'll have lots of fun exploring our new house...if the sellers ever get their act together...

Jane INSISTS on eating with a fork.  She even tries to stab the food herself (see her runny nose, poor girl).

Pismo Beach

Shell Beach

This egg made our voices echo,
which Jane thought was hilarious!

Erik had meetings on Monday, so Jane and I had a great time playing at the playground and walking along the cliffs at Shell Beach.  This little girl is so fun to do hang out with!

Down by the creek

a bird flew by

Jane threw rocks in the creek.

It got hot, so Jane took her pants off
like only a baby could.

Thursday night farmer's market

this used to scare Jane...now she loves it

I tried to get her to sit on the steps for a photo.
Clearly, she wasn't interested!

We were so excited to have Bumpa Dave, Grandma Karen, and Great Nana Judy join us for the weekend!

Montana de Oro

Montana de Oro is my favorite beach in the San Luis Obispo area--soft sand, shell/rock sand, rock formations, the coolest tide pools (unfortunately, we did not check the tides and went at high tide...oh well!),  hills, sandy cliffs, and eucalyptus forests.  I LOVE Montana de Oro!  My camera lens was broken, so some of the pics are overexposed.  I guess we'll have to go back next year to take some more!
